Beautiful chest, but the knife slots are too narrow
The wood finish, clear display lid, and fabric-lined interior make this an attractive chest for my gold flatware. The lower drawer also provides additional storage.
My main complaint is that my butter knives will not sit properly in the upper holder’s notches, regardless of how I position them. Neither the blade nor the handle fits securely. The notches are rigid and cannot be adjusted, so wider openings would better accommodate my knives.
Overall, it makes a lovely display, but the fixed slots may not work for every flatware pattern.
