For a birthday, baby shower or wedding dessert table, a cupcake tower holds far more than a platter and gives the table some height. Ours are thick MDF boards with a vintage brown wood grain on a metal frame, with non-slip feet so a fully loaded tower doesn’t wobble.

How many do you need to hold?
- Up to 24: the 3-tier stand, with 9.8-inch or 11.6-inch tiers, sold singly or in pairs.
- Up to 50: the 4-tier round tower, about 20 inches across.
- A long buffet: the 4-tier rectangular stand (17.9 x 15.4 inches) fits along a table and also works for donuts, macarons and cookies.
- Both: the 3- and 4-tier bundle gives you a tall and a short tower for a staggered display.
Plan on one cupcake per guest plus about ten percent. Set the stand in place before loading it, and fill it from the bottom tier up.
