Coat Racks & Hooks

The entryway is where coats, bags and keys land the moment you walk in. A wall-mounted coat rack with a shelf gives them somewhere to go: hooks for jackets, scarves, bags and the dog leash, and a 17-inch shelf above for hats, mail or a small plant.
Ours is solid wood with retro bronze coat hooks, in walnut, brown, white or black, and needs a little assembly. Mount it into studs if it will carry winter coats or a full backpack. About 5 to 6 feet off the floor works for adults; hang it lower if the kids need to reach.
