Shadow Box Frames
A shadow box is a frame with depth. Instead of a flat photo, you can arrange real objects behind the glass: a wedding invitation with the dried boutonniere, a baby’s first shoes and hospital bracelet, a pet’s collar and tag, ticket stubs and seashells from a trip.

Ours is 11 x 14 inches in a rustic burnt wood finish, enough room for a small grouping of a few items with a photo in the middle. Lay everything out on the backing board before you fix it in place, and use pins or glue dots rather than tape, which yellows over time.
