Nice case – great for smaller knives
Sometimes adult kids are the hardest people to shop for — especially when they tend to buy whatever they want. My son recently inherited a couple of knives from his grandfather, and this display case turned out to be the perfect way for him to store them, with plenty of room left to start his own collection. (Which, honestly, makes future gift‑giving so much easier for me.)
The case is well‑made from real wood with a rich brown finish, and the clear acrylic lid simply lifts off — no hinges to worry about breaking. The drawer underneath is an especially nice touch. It’s great for stashing cash, watches, or any small keepsakes. There are enough display slots for most smaller knife collections. The slots are too small for larger hunting knives, but they’re perfect for pocket knives and similar sizes. The price feels a little high at first glance, but the quality is exceptional and the case looks fantastic — not too big, not too small, just right for a dresser or shelf.
Overall, it’s a very nice piece and a thoughtful gift for anyone who appreciates a good knife collection.

Nice but not the best for smaller pocket knives
This review is for the wooden knife display case from Amoard. There are several things I really like and a few that I dislike.
Let's start with the good. The lid is clear and lightweight. There are absolutely no clarity issues which is a huge positive when you are wanting to display something nice. The sliding drawer has multiple sized cloth-lined slots to protect whatever you place inside. There are 3 smaller slots on the right and 1 larger one on the left as you can see in my photo. The case sits level on my desk and is not wobbly which is thankful for a reason listed below.
Unfortunately there are a couple drawbacks. There is no way to lock the lid, but that is not a big deal and I knew this when I ordered it, but be aware that you can simply lift the acrylic lid off the top and access the knives. The wood feels a bit light so I have some questions about the overall quality of it. But the thing I most dislike and thing that stands out most and is the reason for a star deduction (almost 2 stars) is the main knife display. Most of mine are smaller pocket knives. So, to see them well in it, they have to be angled up against the ridges. However, the wood on the display where they sit is so smooth that if you lightly bump it, all the knives will fall. If I bounce my leg while sitting at my desk, the knives will fall. If my dog bumps into my desk, the knives fall. Sometimes I come home to see that the knives fell. Sometimes they fall for no reason at all. The display part is just too smooth to properly hold small knives like what I have. For larger ones that fully fill the slots, it is fine. Although it gives me an excuse to mess with them, it is very aggravating to constantly have to reset the position of the knives. So for larger knives, I can recommend this. For smaller ones, I would suggest looking elsewhere or modifying it by adding textured slots or clear grip tape like I am going to have to do.

Absolutely Beautiful Solid Wooden Knife Display Case with Drawer and Clear Top Closure
I’m extremely happy with this knife display case. The solid wood construction is beautiful and has a substantial, high-quality feel that makes it look more like a piece of furniture than a simple storage box.
The crystal-clear top is one of my favorite features. It gives you an excellent view of your knife collection while keeping everything enclosed and protected. The two upper tiers provide plenty of room to organize and display your favorite knives where they can easily be seen.
There’s also additional drawer space underneath for storing more knives, EDC gear, or other small trinkets and collectibles. The combination of display space and hidden storage makes the entire case very practical.
Overall, this is a beautiful way to organize and show off a knife collection. The solid wood construction, incredibly clear top, and generous storage make it an excellent display case.

Imperfections in wood, lid is not attached.
Display case arrived well packed to avoid damage.
The side is good, and I like that there is both closed drawer storage as well as the open display.
The case on top is not attached on a hinge- so when you open it you have to find a place to put it which is not super convenient
Also- the wood staining was incomplete in some spots- and the wood looks unfinished in spots as well.
The drawer opened and closed well, and the lining on the inside is nice. But sadly- the wood appearance was not the best- especially for the price point.

It's a Beautifully Crafted Wooden Knife Display…but
Here's a simple Pro's/Con's List:
Pro's:
(1.) This Wooden knife display is well crafted, it comes with a nicely sanded smooth finish, and with a beautiful looking Walnut Stain applied on the top of of the wood.
(2.) The Overall width is almost 12 inches wide, which is great, because it allows you to display large knives or a lot of smaller folding knives on the top side of the display case under the Large Acrylic Top for everybody to see.
(2.) It has a nice single slide out drawer in the bottom of the display case, that has separate dividers with loose grey colored felt inserts in them to help protect the wooden bottom of the drawer from smaller folded knives or other objects that you decide to put into it.
Con's:
(1.) The Large Clear Acrylic top that this comes with is a loose friction fitting type of top with no hinges, and so with each removal you risk possibly cracking or chipping the acrylic top itself each time you remove or replace it back onto the edges of the display.
(2.) This knife display doesn't come with any type of felt inserts for the top of its display, and so your knives could easily Scratch or Dent the wood, and or the wood itself could possibly mar the polished finish on your prized knife collection.
(3.) At the time that I received this wooden knife display, the current price point was $79.99, which at that price point it isn't a good value for your money.
In Conclusion:
This is a Beautiful wooden knife display, and I personally could recommend this wooden knife display if it's price point wasn't so high, and it's for that reason that I can only give this a 3 out of 5 Star rating.

High quality knife display case with a premium look and feel.
The drawer of this knife display case pulls out easily with no squeaks. I like the brass finish on the metal drawer knob, which is securely attached and doesn't feel wobbly at all. The clear lid is nicely transparent without any haziness. The inside of the drawer is lined with soft material, which helps keep everything secure with no rattling. The drawer is divided into perfectly sized sections to accommodate most sizes of pocket knives. The wood has a smooth finish with a durable feel that will make it last. I like the tiered design of this display case, which is also angled and displays knives for easy viewing. Overall, good value for the money considering the excellent fit and finish and the premium materials used.

High quality, and large capacity knife display case.
I really love the look of this case. It has a very modern style with the lid, but a classic wooden look on the lower portion of it. It can hold a ton of knives in my collection, yet doesn't take up a huge footprint on my bookcase. All the knives I want to be displayed can be shown on the top, and some of the small ones can fit in the drawer.
At about 50 dollars at the time of review, it is definitely on the higher priced side. But I think with the capacity and the styling, it is worth it to show off your collection.

Great Quality Knife Display
I recently purchased a larger version of this knife holder for myself. I use it for pocket knives and a few other trinkets that also fit. A friend of mine liked it so much that I decided to get this smaller version as a birthday gift for them. They loved it. It has a nice clear, plastic lid for display your pocket knives on the rest on top. But it also has a drawer with another rest for more knives. Rings and other jewelry will also work! And this one has dual compartments as shown, with an open compartment on the left for other things like your wallet or wrist watch. It's a great gift idea, especially for anyone who is a fan or collector of pocket knives and such. A great price for the quality, and it looks great too.
