   Nice lightweight wall mount hanger to display medals
   My husband and I are currently renovating our basement into an exercise room, and I recently purchased this wood wall mount hanger to display my medals from various 5K, 10K, and half marathons. The shelf itself is crafted from lightweight wood and features two velvet slots for pinning medals and a bottom metal hook for additional hanging. It can accommodate up to 40 medals.
   While the shelf is quite versatile and suitable for any type of award collection, such as soccer, swimming, gymnastics, or basketball, I did encounter a few challenges during installation. The screw holes are not pre-drilled, and the screws provided with the shelf are not magnetized, making it a bit tricky to attach to thin wood. To avoid splitting the wood, I had to hand-screw the screws.
   Despite these minor inconveniences, I still give this shelf four stars. I appreciate its rustic appearance and the choice of brown color. The combination of the powder-coated brown wood finish and the black velvet slots creates a sophisticated display for my medals in our new exercise room. The velvet will make the medals stand out beautifully.
   Overall, this display shelf is an excellent option for showcasing your sporting collections. It offers a nice alternative to simply shoving your medals in a door where they’re not visible. While it may not be the highest quality wood shelf, considering that it’s meant to be hung on the wall and won’t be moved frequently, I believe it will withstand the test of time. Additionally, it’s quite reasonably priced for a display shelf.

   More Than a Medal Hanger, It’s a Showcase for Hard Earned Memories
   There comes a point when medals stop being keepsakes and start becoming clutter. They get draped over doorknobs, stuffed into drawers, hung from bedposts, or piled on top of a dresser with trophies and certificates. Each one represents something worth remembering, but when they are all tangled together, they somehow lose a little of what made them special. That was what attracted me to this wooden trophy and medal display. I wanted something that could organize everything without looking like a piece of sporting equipment bolted to the wall, and this turned out to be a surprisingly handsome solution.
   The first thing that impressed me was the wood itself. This is not one of those displays where the wooden portions feel like an afterthought surrounding a bunch of metal hardware. The brown finish has a warm, rustic appearance, and there is enough visible grain and variation throughout the pieces to give the display some character. It looks especially nice against a light colored wall because the wood stands out without becoming overpowering. The edges are shaped rather than simply being square cut boards, and once assembled, the entire piece has considerably more dimension than I expected from the listing photos.
   Assembly is required, and when everything first comes out of the package it admittedly looks like more of a project than it really is. There are the two wooden side pieces, the upper wooden shelf, two black padded medal sections, the long black metal hanging rack, wooden dowels, screws, wall anchors, and even cable ties. The included instruction sheet breaks everything down into diagrams, and once I laid the components out and identified what went where, the construction made sense. I particularly liked the use of wooden dowels in conjunction with screws. The dowels help locate and stabilize the wooden sections while the screws provide the mechanical connection. Once tightened, the frame feels substantially more rigid than I expected.
   The black sections in the middle are an interesting design choice because they provide contrast against the brown wood while also giving medal ribbons a softer surface to rest against. More importantly, having two separate levels makes organization much easier. Instead of hanging every medal from a single bar and creating one enormous mass of ribbons, medals can be separated between the two rows. You could organize them chronologically, by sport, by child, by competition level, or simply put the favorites where they are easiest to see.
   Then there is the bottom metal rack, which might actually be my favorite part of the design. It has a long series of individual pegs rather than one continuous bar. Each peg terminates in a small rounded end that helps keep whatever is hanging there from sliding off. That gives the display a tremendous amount of flexibility. Medals are the obvious use, but the hooks can also accommodate lanyards, ribbons, lightweight awards, race credentials, or other small memorabilia. Several medals can share a peg as a collection grows, so there is considerably more capacity here than the physical dimensions initially suggest.
   The upper shelf is what really separates this from a basic medal hanger. It gives trophies and smaller awards a legitimate place to live. A favorite trophy, framed photograph, plaque, or other meaningful piece can sit above the medals instead of being displayed somewhere completely different. The shelf is roughly five inches deep, which provides useful space without making the entire unit project excessively far from the wall. At approximately sixteen inches wide, the display is also compact enough that it doesn't require an enormous blank wall.
   Once everything is assembled, the combination works extremely well visually. The brown wood provides warmth, the black sections keep the design from becoming overly rustic, and the metal rack adds just enough industrial character. More importantly, the display itself doesn't compete with what you put on it. Add colorful ribbons, gold and silver medals, and a trophy or two, and those accomplishments immediately become the focal point.
   I would strongly recommend taking the wall mounting seriously. A few medals don't weigh much, but medals, trophies, and plaques collectively can become surprisingly heavy. I prefer mounting something like this into a stud whenever the placement allows it. If studs aren't available in the correct locations, I would make sure the anchors being used are appropriate for the wall material and expected load. This isn't something I would casually hang from a couple of finishing nails and hope for the best.
   What I appreciate most is that this solves a very ordinary problem in a way that feels meaningful. Medals are funny objects. They may not have much monetary value, but someone practiced for them, competed for them, woke up early for them, lost before earning them, and probably remembers exactly where many of them came from. Tossing them into a drawer never feels quite right.
   This display gives those memories a home.
   It is sturdy, attractive, thoughtfully organized, and compact enough to work in a bedroom, hallway, game room, home office, or upstairs landing. I especially like that it can grow with a collection rather than looking full after the first handful of medals. The trophy shelf, dual medal sections, and individual lower hooks make much better use of the available wall space than a simple medal bar.
   After seeing it assembled, I think that's ultimately the best compliment I can give it: before installation, it looks like a collection of wood, fabric, metal, screws, and dowels. Once it is hanging on the wall and filled with accomplishments, you stop noticing the organizer and start noticing the stories hanging from it. And that is exactly what a good trophy and medal display should do.

   Very simple to put together and use
   This medal hanger wall display is great for both hanging medals as well as using as a shelf!
   It was very simple to put together and it came with really clear instructions. I got this for my 11-year old, and he was able to put it together all by himself. It was simple to hang on the wall – it came with anchors and screws.
   The medal portion in the middle has velvet backs. It has lots of slits along the top – and it comes with Velcro ties to go around the slits to hold each medal in. The velvet shelves are easy to take out and put in – so it’s very simple to add/change the medals.
   The medal hanger display shelf looks really good hanging on the wall. This is a great way to display medal, trophies and anything else.

   No pilot holes, nothing to assist with hanging
   The best thing about this was the extras on all the screws and dowels. However, it also labeled pilot holes for where the screws went. The hanging system requires a couple screws in the wall, but the system is kinda hard to get level. There is nothing with it to help. It is a nice looking, affordable option.

   Poor quality wood, and not finished well
   I've built a lot of items that I've ordered on line, so I've seen a wide range of quality. I have to put this at the lower end of build quality, but since you don't touch it very often, it may work just fine for your needs.
   The wood is think balsa. Meaning it's very lightweight, but will not hold up to stress.
   The wood is also not sanded well. The rounded corners feel like they weren't sanded at all and were very rough.
   It was not pre-drilled, so be very carefully when screwing in the screws — if you go too fast, it may split.
   As for the rest, it was okay. But I can not recommend this item based on the poor quality of wood, finishing, and lack of pre drilling.

   Not difficult to assemble; great shelf
   This medal display is a really nice way to organize awards while actually making them part of the room instead of having medals and trophies stored away in boxes. I love the three-tier design because it provides plenty of space for displaying different types of awards without everything looking crowded. The brown wood finish also gives it a much nicer, more decorative appearance than the basic metal medal hangers I’ve seen.
   There is enough room on the shelves for trophies and other keepsakes, while the hanging area keeps medals organized and visible. I especially like being able to keep everything together in one place rather than having trophies on one shelf, medals somewhere else, and certificates tucked away where no one sees them. As more awards are earned, they can easily be added to the display.
   Once mounted on the wall, it feels sturdy and looks very put together. The tiered layout also makes it easier to see the individual trophies instead of having them all lined up behind one another. It turns an empty section of wall into a nice display of accomplishments and gives kids a place where they can proudly see everything they have worked for.
   This would be especially nice for gymnastics, soccer, running, dance, martial arts, or any activity where medals and trophies start accumulating quickly. I also think it would make a thoughtful gift for a young athlete because it is something they can continue filling over the years.
   Overall, I’m very happy with the appearance, storage space, and functionality. It keeps awards organized while displaying them in a way that feels special, and the wooden design looks more like actual room décor than sports storage. It’s a great way to celebrate accomplishments while keeping everything neat and organized.

   Stable and nice small trophy hanger
   This Medal Hanger Display (3-Tier Wooden Trophy Shelf Rack in Brown) has been a perfect way to showcase my medals and awards.
   The three tiers provide plenty of space for medals, small trophies, and even certificates. The wooden construction looks clean and sturdy on the wall, and the brown finish gives it a warm, classic appearance. It holds everything securely without looking cluttered, and it’s easy to rearrange as I add new awards.
   I’ve used it for running and other sports medals, and it makes a nice display in the room. It would also work well as a thoughtful gift for a runner, soccer player, gymnast, or any athlete who wants to display their achievements.
