Lurgno Freestanding Rack Removes Garage Chaos & Transitions Gear Between Seasons
My garage never looks the same from season to season. In the summer, fishing gear, life vests, and wet water shoes end up everywhere. In the winter, skis and snowboards take over the floor. I’ve tried a few organizers over the years, but I wanted something that could handle both seasons without needing a complete rearrange. That’s what led me to the LURGNO Freestanding Ski and Snowboard Rack.
Putting it together was pretty simple. The parts were labeled clearly, and the instructions were easy to follow. I originally bought it with summer gear in mind, but it ended up transitioning into winter surprisingly well.
During the summer, it kept things from piling up:
Fishing rods fit neatly on the supports.
Life vests hung without sliding off.
The bottom shelves worked well for drying wet water shoes and gloves.
On days when everyone was constantly going in and out of the water, I moved the rack out to the patio. It’s light enough to carry without much effort, and having everything right there kept the garage from getting messy. People could grab what they needed and return things easily, which helped keep things under control.
When winter arrived, the switch was easy:
The padded supports held skis and snowboards securely.
The mesh shelves kept gloves, hats, and other small items in one spot instead of scattered around.
The lower shelves doubled as a drying area for boots and gloves after we came home.
By the end of the season, everything stayed more organized than it usually does, which was a nice change.
Design-wise, the rack is compact for a freestanding model, so finding a place for it wasn’t hard. The adjustable feet helped it stay stable on my uneven garage floor, and the size makes it simple to move around when transitioning between seasons.
Who this rack might work well for:
Anyone who prefers a freestanding organizer
    Families who rotate gear seasonally
People who need airflow for drying gloves, boots, vests, and similar items
Those who like a rack that sits along a wall without taking much space
Anyone who wants something lightweight and easy to move
    Who it might not suit:
Those looking for a corner-style unit
    People who prefer wall-mounted storage
Anyone storing heavier yard tools or equipment
    Final Thoughts:
Overall, this rack helped keep my garage organized through both summer and winter, and it handled each type of gear without taking up too much space. Based on my experience, I feel it offers good value for what it does, and I would recommend it to others who have similar seasonal storage needs.

    Versatile storage rack
While advertised as a snowboard rack, it is versatile enough to have many potential uses.
It is well packaged with better than average assembly instructions. Individual pieces are clearly marked and assembly is pain free (allen wrench is included). Stated dimensions are correct.
While certainly sturdy, I do not consider it overly robust or heavy duty – you are not going to sit on it without creating a problem. Granted, heavy duty can be a relative term.
Overall it is solid for it's intended purpose, while also versatile for other general storage uses. The independently adjustable feet provide stability if you have an uneven surface, or want to intentionally lean the rack (like ensuring it leans back towards a wall). As a specialty or niche item, I think there is a slight cost premium associated with such items. At the current price of $70, it is a fair value.

Multipurpose must have! Quick assembly, sturdy, well made, and decent price
This garage ski rack is PERFECT for garage organization. I don't own skis, but I immediately knew of multiple uses for this rack. I currently have it set up to hold our active outdoor equipment. Very easy and quick to assemble. It is sturdy, designed well, has various uses and decently priced. I would recommend this rack if you're looking for something stable to hold equipment, tools, or whatever you think to use it for.

    Good quality sturdy rack
I am happy with this rack. The pieces are sturdy with no sharp edges and they are well powder coated. The areas for the screws are well threaded and the screws go in easily mostly just using finger tightening. I only needed the allen wrench for the last few turns to tighten them. The screws have a big enough head that fingers can grab onto them without excessive fumbling. One thing the listing does not show is that the pieces during assembling fit into each other like legos in that one piece sleeves over the other so they overlap each other a little bit, which adds to the sturdiness of the final product. It took me about 30 minutes to put the unit together without much suffering, it was not complicated and the instructions were decent.
After I assembled it, I loaded some heavy boxes onto it for storage and then changed my mind about where I was going to place the unit and I was able to drag the entire thing fully loaded to a new location without a problem, that shows you it is reasonably sturdy. I would not use this for storing gold bullion but it's strong enough for any normal type of use. Overall the quality is good and I don't have any areas of complaint. I feel like although the final product does look like the listing photos, it also turned out more sturdy than I expected just from the listing photos.
The unit comes with 4 feet to protect floors or carpet. The middle 2 racks have a sturdy grid design and the unit comes with some shelf liner pad things that are enough to cover one of the two levels if you like. You can place these on whatever shelves you prefer. Or you can just leave the metal grating exposed on both levels. Along the top, there is one bar across the front to help hold tall things like skis in place. That bar is placed such that you could also perch boxes on that bar and have them leaning against the back of the unit if you wanted to use the top for lighter weight boxes as well. I like that flexibility because this rack will likely get used for storing an ever changing range of items. The size is appropriate for the intended use and I like the slanted back top area. The current price at $70 seems like a good value especially considering it is nicer than I had expected. I feel confident about recommending this rack.

Perfect way to store and organize your gear
As downhill and cross country skiers in Vermont, we have a ton of gear. This ski rack keeps things nice and organized. It's easy to put together. It's very stable and sturdy, and is made of quality materials. In the winter it gives us easy access to our gear, and during the rest of the year it's a great way to store our equipment.

Solid organization for ski 🎿 equipment in one spot
This ski rack is exactly what an avid skier with multiple sets of equipment needs. It holds three pairs of skis with much more room left over, all our googles in one place, and it is sturdy and doesnt easily fall over. Organizing all ski equipment together in one place makes leaving for early morning trips to the slopes that much easier and quick.

    Stable and durable
This is great storage real estate! It was a simple build, directions were clear and they included the wrench. One of my quicker builds for a storage rack, even while watching tv.
Once built it's solidly durable and stable. It has adjustable feet, a prize in our older house because the floors are uneven. I put this shelf in the mudroom off the kitchen, to hold skateboards and wet or muddy footwear to dry. The bottom shelf is perfect for wet or muddy footwear, it's a metal mesh that allows water to drip off and we have a mat underneath.
I didn't need to stabilize this to the wall, it holds itself up nicely even with the weight of several skateboards. It organizes beautifully, I am beyond pleased to no longer have the skateboards underfoot in the walkway because the kids leaned them haphazardly against the wall in a rush.
This is a solid shelf that feels reasonably priced to me, and I would buy it in the future. It looks good and works great. Highly recommend.
