Very pink and lots of storage options
My granddaughter who is 10, really liked this jewelry box. It is a very pretty pink color and she loves everything pink. It has a nice finish on the outside that seems like it will be easy to wipe clean. The inside is a very light ivory color and could get grubby looking over time. There are many options to store earrings, rings, necklaces and bracelets. The various drawers also allow storing of keepsake trinkets. The problem with the necklace hanger is that it is too short. As shown in the photo, the necklaces pool at the bottom and can become tangled there completely defeating the purpose of the hanger. When you try to hang the necklace by "folding" the chain in half it just slides off the hooks. The jewelry box is of mid grade quality with some unfinished or poorly finished places. The blue circle around a portion of one photo shows where the lining is not tucked into the box as it is supposed to be. There are two (one light skinned and blond and one dark skinned and brunette) ballerinas and you can use the one that matches your child. This is a nice touch. Overall, a nice gift for a child but not a keepsake that will last into adulthood.
